On Wednesday 5 June 2024, Luxembourg's National Roads Administration announced upcoming road closures and diversions on the A6 motorway.

The National Roads Administration will renew the wearing course between the Belgium-Luxembourg border and the Mamer interchange of the A6 from around 22:00 on Friday 7 June until around 05:00 on Monday 10 June 2024.

The following road closures will be put in place during this period:

- the A6 motorway in the direction of Luxembourg between the Belgium-Luxembourg border and the Mamer interchange;
- the Steinfort interchange access ramp in the direction of Luxembourg-

Traffic on the A6 will operate in bidirectional mode, on one lane per direction, between the Belgium-Luxembourg border and the Mamer interchange. The maximum speed will be limited to 70km/h.

Traffic coming from the A6 towards Luxembourg and in the direction of Steinfort will be diverted from the Mamer interchange via the N6.

Traffic coming from the N13 and heading in the direction of the A6 towards Luxembourg will be diverted from the Steinfort interchange via the N13, the N6 and the Mamer interchange.

With the necessary preparatory work being carried out a few hours in advance, traffic disruptions are expected at the end of Friday afternoon.
