2nd Rallye du Cœur to Take Place On 6 July

The Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner and the Rallye du Cœur have announced the second edition of the Rallye du Cœur in Luxembourg, which will take place on Saturday 6 July 2024 on the forecourt of the European School II in Mamer, from 11:00.

This event is open to the general public and is dedicated to children with cancer and their families, offering a memorable day full of joy, support and solidarity.

The Rallye du Cœur is an event where passion, solidarity and kindness combine, developing each year thanks to the support of loyal partners, media, and the participation of several dozen crews, the organisers noted.

“We are honoured to be able to offer these children and their families a day of happiness and respite. The smile of each child is our greatest reward," said Geoffroy de Susbielle, co-founder of the Rallye du Cœur.

The objective is twofold: to offer a beautiful day to sick children and their families, and to raise funds to finance projects dedicated to children with cancer. The drivers open their doors to welcome the children alongside them, creating happy moments for the children and their parents.

Thanks to the crews' collections, which are made online on the Rallye du Cœur website, a total amount will be donated to the Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner to finance several key projects. For the 2024 edition, the Rallye du Cœur has selected the following three projects:

- psychological support for the patient and their family throughout the illness;
- educational activities to create a bond of belonging, encourage physical activity and offer moments of leisure and self-rediscovery;
- convalescence stays by the sea to allow families to come together for a moment of respite.

Anne Goeres, director of the Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner added: “The support of the Rallye du Cœur is invaluable for our Foundation. Thanks to them, beyond a wonderful day, we can continue to finance essential projects for the well-being of sick children and their families.”

The Rallye du Cœur is a family day focused on striking cars, suitable for all ages. This event is available for all to discover the entertainment stands, food trucks and especially the car exhibition.
