Following the government's announcement of a new three-week partial lockdown, Kinepolis has confirmed that its cinemas in Luxembourg will temporarily close their doors from tomorrow, Wednesday 25 November 2020.

Whilst the new restrictions, which include cinema closures, are expected to come into force on Thursday, Kinepolis has decided to close one day earlier since Wednesday is traditionally the first day of a new film week. Kinepolis added that the decision had been followed by all cinema operators in Luxembourg.

Kinepolis cinemas remain closed in Belgium and France, whilst they reopened in the Netherlands on 19 November 2020, following a two-week closure.
