The Board of Directors of the Agence luxembourgeoise d’action culturelle (ALAC, the Luxembourg Agency for Cultural Action) has announced the appointment of Luc Wagner as director of the ALAC.
He will be assisted in his duties by Ms Conny Schneider, Deputy Director; the Board believes that Mr. Wagner and Ms. Schneider will provide the expertise needed to develop the Agency's activities.
After assuring the responsibility of interim leadership during the last 12 months, Luc Henzig will hand over control from 15 September 2016 to the new leadership of the agency.
ALAc was founded in March 1996 by the Ville de Luxembourg and the Ministry of Culture to follow up the good cooperation experienced in the context of "Luxembourg, European City of Culture 1995". Its missions, defined by the statutes, give it a role of stimulation, coordination and organisation of cultural activities.
