The Belle Etoile shopping centre in Bertrange will host an exhibition entitled “Yôkoso – Welcome to Japan” from 29 January to 8 February 2025.
This year, Osaka will host the World Expo, a major global event celebrating innovation, culture and international collaboration. It is in this spirit that the Belle Etoile shopping centre, in partnership with the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg, is inviting members of the public to discover a unique immersion in Japanese culture through its new exhibition “Yôkoso – Welcome to Japan”.
With partners from Luxembourg, Europe and Japan itself, visitors will immerse themselves in this magnificent country by discovering crafts, tourism and gastronomy. Exhibitions and workshops on manga, ikebana, calligraphy and bonsai are all being offered.
The exhibition also includes demonstrations such as music concerts, martial arts performances and traditional Japanese dances.
Sake and Japanese speciality stands inside, as well as food trucks (Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, Onigiri, Donburi...) outside will also be present.
