On Wednesday 25 June 2025, the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced the recall of various packaged fruit products from Grosbusch due to the possible presence of metal-like foreign bodies.
The following Grosbusch products have been recalled:
- "Ananas cube barquette" (packaged pineapple cubes), 1 kg and 2 kg;
- "Melon charentais cube barquette" (packaged Charentais melon cubes), 1 kg and 2 kg;
- "Mix melon charentais / galia cube" (mixed Charentais / Galia melon cubes), 1 kg;
- "Salade de fruits été sans jus barquette" (packaged summer fruit salad without juice), 1 kg and 2 kg;
- "Salade de fruits été seau" (summer fruit salad pot), 5 kg.
The affected products all have a use-by date of 28/06/2025 and lot number 23/06/2025 and were sold on 24/06/2025.
There is currently an orange awareness level warning (meaning "be careful - medium risk / danger) in place for these products.
