The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Monday 25 August 2025, between 07:00 and 08:30, they conducted a large-scale traffic check in Junglinster, near Lënster Bierg.

During the operation, officers fined eighteen drivers for exceeding the maximum permitted speed of 90 km/h by more than 20 km/h. Each received a €145 fine and two penalty points. In seven cases, drivers exceeded the speed limit by up to 20 km/h and received a €49 fine. Police also confiscated the driving licence of one motorist who was travelling at 114 km/h instead of the permitted 90 km/h.

In addition, officers issued a fine in one case because the vehicle had modifications that were not properly recorded in the registration certificate. Another fine was issued because a vehicle did not provide sufficient visibility to the front and both sides.
