The stallholders of the Schueberfouer held a press reception on Monday 25 August 2025 at which they presented details of the special events that will take place throughout this year's funfair.

Charles Hary, speaking on behalf of the Féderation Nationale des Commerçants Forains (FNCF), welcomed members of the press at the restaurant Schla'Winer on the Champ du Glacis, in the heart of the Schueberfouer, to outline the special events – which include a special reception for disadvantaged and homeless people organised together with Stëmm vun der Strooss on Tuesday 26 August 2025.

These events continue on:

- Wednesday 27 August 2025 with a Family Day offering reduced prices on rides and attractions throughout the day;

- Thursday 28 August 2025 with the Pageant Queens' evening for all the crowned pageant queens of wine, beer, etc.;

- Sunday 31 August and Monday 1 September 2025 with the Fouersonndeg and Braderie, bringing a festive market atmosphere to the city centre;

- Tuesday 2 and Thursday 4 September 2025 (from 12:00 onwards), with Lämmy, the official mascot of the funfair, and other cartoon friends posing for photos and distributing free ride tickets and souvenirs. They will also hand out coupons for the tombola which will take place on Monday 8 September 2025 at 18:00, at the main entrance of the Schueberfouer;

- Wednesday 3 September 2025 with Food Deals Day, offering special promotions on selected dishes across the fairground's restaurants and food stands;

- Friday 5 September 2025 with the fairground workers' Mass at 11:00 and the flower laying ceremony at 12:00;

- Wednesday 10 September 2025 with a Half-Price Day on all rides until 20:00; ending with a closing fireworks display on the Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte (the Red Bridge) at 22:00.

After the press reception, Chronicle.lu caught up with Patrick Goldschmidt, a Luxembourg City councillor in charge of festivals and markets. He noted that the first weekend of the 2025 Schueberfouer had started positively, with visitor numbers comparable to last year, and expressed confidence that this year's edition would be a success.

He explained that the Federation of Fairground Traders reported satisfaction among both visitors and stallholders with attendance figures for the first three days on par with 2024. The Forains also expressed the opinion that food and drink prices remain fair and, in many cases, lower than those in restaurants elsewhere in the city or the country.

Patrick Goldschmidt added that the Federation presented a detailed programme, including Family Day with 30% off attractions, special food offers on the second Wednesday, and braderie markets distributing free ride tickets.

For those who like to plan ahead, the dates of the next edition of the Schueberfouer will be from 21 August to 9 September 2026.
