On 28 March 2017, Travel Technology startup Travelsify announced it has raised €2 Million in seed funding led by Luxembourg-based business angels and with the help of the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy.
The €2 Million investment will permit the company to develop its innovative Hotel DNA content platform, the first of its kind in the world, as well as expand its expert team in Luxembourg and encourage global growth through new European and international clients.
The private company, based in Luxembourg, was founded in Spring last year and is led by the entrepreneurs Bruno Chauvat, Alexandra Fernandez Ramos, and Dr Alexander Weber. Travelsify currently employs 15 people in the Grand Duchy and in seven other countries. Its Hotel DNA content platform encompasses around 300,000 hotels worldwide.
Last year, the Travel Tech company was awarded “Market Changing Innovator” by Phocuswright, the global travel industry research authority, and has been supported by Luxinnovation, the startup accelerator, nyuko, and the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy.
