Last weekend, a record number of participants took part in the Rotary Clubs of Luxembourg’s "Espoir en tête" action, which collected donations through screenings of the new “Beauty and the Beast” film.

For the 5th consecutive year, the "Espoir en tête" initiative made it possible to collect donations for brain research in Luxembourg by organising this weekend previews of the new Disney film “Beauty and the Beast” across Utopolis cinemas.

On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March, "Beauty and the Beast" was on display in cinemas across the Grand Duchy. A portion of 8 out of the seat price of 15 was donated to research on the brain diseases in Luxembourg.

This year set a new record with more than 5,000 spectators present, overtaking the 4,150 spectators who attended the previous screening of "The Jungle Book". In addition, “Beauty and the Beast” was sold out in twenty rooms in the Utopolis complexes Kirchberg and Utopolis Belval on the Sunday. With such high demand for tickets, three additional rooms at the cinema Utopolis Kirchberg were reserved for its projection.

Those who wish to support “Espoir en tête”, can make a donation to the Association Luxembourgeoise des Œuvres du Rotary, indicating HOPE FIRST, to the account IBAN LU94 0081 7737 4700 1003 (BLUXLULL).
