The customs administration has announced that last week-end, customs officers in Luxembourg scored a coup against international drug trafficking.
When undertaking a customs inspection on the Belgian-Luxembourg border, Skip, a beable engaged by the Customs Administration, sniffed out a total of circa 2,000 ecstasy tablets, 13 grams of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana, which had been well hidden in a vehicle of a foreign couple which had been stopped.
The public prosecutor ordered that the drugs and the vehicle used in the transport should be confiscated, as well as the arrest of the drug smugglers who were subsequently brought before the investigating judge in court.
The drug was intended for sale in neighbouring countries.
