The Grand Ducal Police have appealed to members of the public who may have witnessed the setting alight of several straw bales in Wiltz.
The incident happened shortly after 17:30 on the Campingstrooss in Wiltz. The fire caused what was described as minor damage to the side of an adjacent house, which is understood to have been caused by the heat of the fire. Nobody was injured as a result of the fire which was extinguished quickly when the local emergency services arrived at the scene.
