The Association of British and Irish Accountants in Luxembourg (ABIAL) will be holding its next Breakfast on Tuesday 5 April 2016, dedicated to 'The Power of One - Ethics and Integrity?'
President of the Chartered Accountants of Scotland, Jim Pettigrew, will act as the main speaker for the event, bringing with him his experience as former Chief Financial Officer of the world's largest money and derivatives broker ICAP PLC. He later held positions as Chief Operating Officer at Ashmore Group PLC and Chief Executive of CMC Markets PLC. Mr. Pettigrew is currently Chairman of Edinburgh Investment Trust plc, Chairman of Cldesdale Bank plc, Deputy Chairman of Royal bank of Canada Europe and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Aberdeen Asset Management plc.
Attendance at the Breakfast costs 30€ for qualified members of the UK or Irish Institutes, 40€ for non-members and 10€ for the first 5 students of the UK or Irish Institutes, on a first come first served basis. Payment should be made by BIL bank transfer to IBAN LU56 0024 1398 5698 8300 in advance, with cash payments accepted in exceptional circumstances.
Places can be reserved at www.abial.lu until 31 March 2016. A no-show policy will be enforced, and will require that 100% of the respective price be paid unless cancellation is made before Friday 1 April 2016. The event will take place from 08:30 to 10:30 at the Sofitel Europe Kirchberg, 4 Rue du Fort Niedergrunewald-Luxembourg.
