Organised by ASTI and Tiime, an organisation promoting social impact, The Connections is being held on Sunday 31 January 2016 from 14:00 - 17:00 at Hariko (1 Dernier Sol, Luxembourg-Bonnevoie).
The connections is being organised for both asylum-seekers, refugees and migrants who are looking to build their professional future, as well as for residents wanting to support, guide or mentor, by sharing experiences and desires, and exploring the challenges and opportunities of working in Luxembourg.
The event is similar to a job fair aiming to give information and meaningful contacts to asylum seekers who are waiting 6-9 months for their work permit. It will involve a number of thematic desks providing workshops on life in Luxembourg, as well as activities for children.
Whether you are interested to become a mentor, help with language lessons, help find a work attachment or just curious to meet some new friends in town, everyone is welcome to come along.
