The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that Rue Vauban in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal will be closed to traffic on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September, as well as on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026, due to connection works at the building located at no. 16.
According to the VdL, Rue Vauban will be closed between Rue des Trois Glands and Rue du Fort Olisy from 06:00 on Saturday until 18:00 on Sunday on both weekends.
The following changes will also apply to public transport during the works:
• Bus lines 23 and 26 will be diverted via Côte d’Eich in both directions. The stops Stade Gaston Diderich, Sichenhaff, Pfaffenthal-Halte CFL, Théiwesbuer, Vauban and Ste Cunégonde will not be served and will be replaced by Octroi, Crispinus, Plateau Altmunster and Clausener Bréck Quai 1 for line 26.
• In the direction of Dommeldange, Clausener Bréck Quai 1 will not be served and will be replaced by Clausener Bréck Quai 4 for line 23.
Appropriate signage will be put in place for the duration of the works.
