On Wednesday 27 January 2016, the National Research Fund is organising its FNR Info Day at the Maison du Savoir (House of Knowledge) in Esch-Belval.

The event, during which the FNR funding instruments will be presented, is for the community of Luxembourg and foreign researchers, potential contenders for funding by the FNR and their host institutions and employers.

The event will start at 15:00 in the 3500 auditorium with a speech the Secretary General of the National Research Fund, Marc Schiltz, followed by a brief description of the main financing instruments. The National Commission for Data Protection will make with a presentation dedicated to data protection in scientific research. The plenary session will end with the presentation of the results of an external evaluation by Western Michigan University on the CORE programme selection process of the FNR.

Researchers will have the possibility to meet different FNR programme supervisors who will answer more specific questions related to funding programmes.
