The 42nd edition of the Antiques & Art Fair will be coming to Luxembourg this January at Luxexpo, offering an outlet for ancient and contemporary art collectors and enthusiasts.
Open from Friday 29 January to Monday 1 February, the 2016 Antiques & Art Fair Luxembourg will be showcasing 110 exhibitors representing 8 different countries and a variety of styles and eras: furniture, customary objects, design, ceremonial and decorative items, jewellery, silverware, antique books, bronze statues, ancient and contemporary paintings and sculptures, carvings, glassware and ceramics will all feature.
As in previous years, the fair will also host a workshop on furniture restoration, with quality, reputation and sustainability remaining the key elements of the event. Over the years, the fair has gained an international dimension with several new internationally-renowned exhibitors due to participate for this year's edition, including the Dutch Galerie Eufrazie de Valkenburg and its romantic paintings; the Maison Sadraee de Bruxelles specialising in carpets and antique textiles from the 18th to early 20th centurs; the Galerie Art Déco 1925 of Baden-Baden; Antique Cane of Amsterdam; the Galerie Nippo de Paris and its Japanese antiquities; Cartellino of Brussels and its vintage watches; the Soutch East Asian Collection of Dave in Belgium and its Asian antiquities; and Orientalist painter Leopold Baijot Verviers.
The fair will also be drawing upon the services of experts to advise, guide and assist visitors in exploring the antiques.
