The Centre for Research in Economics and Management (CREA) of the University of Luxembourg has organised a Lunchseminar to address the question 'Does Home Production Drive Structural Transformation?', to take place on Wednesday 27 January 2016.
Alessio Moro, Assistant Professor at the University of Cagliari, will be presenting his findings on a study for which he created a model of structural transformation with a home production sector showing, among others, that the slowdown in home labour productivity, which started in the late 70s, is a key determinant of the late acceleration of market services.
The seminar will take place at 12:00 at the Limpertsberg Campus of the University of Luxembourg, Bâtiment des Sciences, Room BSC001, 162a Avenue de la Faïencerie, 1511 Luxembourg. Registration is required and can be done by contacting crea@uni.lu. Lunch is planned for registered participants.
