Luxembourg indie band Seed to Tree is returning to the Rockhal with the release of their new album "Proportion" on 22 March 2019, from 20:00.
After four years, Luxembourg’s Seed to Tree is back with a new album. Later this month, they will release "Proportions" at the Rockhal Club, an almost sold out venue back in 2015 at the release concert of their debut "Wandering".
As an appetiser, the band today released a third single from the album. The new song "Integrity (You Do not Owe Nothing To Me)" shows a new facet of the band: four minutes of atmospheric synth pop with electronic drum samples and catchy guitar riffs that are slowly but surely ringing in spring. The song speaks of the simplicity and spontaneity of the modern world, as well as the unbearable lightness of being.
With a poppy chorus, "Integrity" is Seed to Tree's invitation to embark on a musical journey. On the new album, the band brings in the full range of what indie music sounds like today: from hip hop beats to electro-pop, the Luxembourgish band shows the diversity of original music. Already the first singles "Within Me" and "I Would not Mind" showed the impressive development of the band, which has been making music together for almost ten years.
On "Proportions", Seed to Tree reveals the result of this long-term collaboration. The ten songs on the album lead into the interior of a musical world that always shifts between genre boundaries. With their signature Seed to Tree sound somewhere between lightness and melancholy, the Luxembourg's indie band offers an alternative to standard pop music and dares to rethink its own boundaries.
Both the album and the Rockhal concert promise many surprises. On this occasion, they will also be accompanied by support act, the Luxembourg indie band Autumn Sweater.
Tickets cost €12 (pre-sale) or €15 at the door. For more information and to purchase tickets, see https://www.rockhal.lu/en/agenda/other/show/detail/seed-to-tree-1/.
