On Wednesday 27 November 2024, the zero-waste platform Kilogram.lu announced its takeover by Anne Harles.

Kilogram.lu, the zero-waste drive that aims to revolutionise local and sustainable shopping in Luxembourg, has reported that Anne Harles, a recognised figure in the organic products and sustainable development sector, is taking over its activities.

After launching Kilogram.lu in early 2022, Stéphanie Lamberty, a former project manager and process optimisation consultant in finance, combined her expertise in digitalisation and her commitment to sustainable consumption to create an innovative platform that is now 100% online. Over the past few years, Kilogram.lu has helped make bulk shopping easier through a system of returnable jars and logistics designed to minimise the ecological footprint while promoting local producers.

Anne Harles, who boasts several years of experience in managing organic stores and committed to sustainable consumption, is now taking over the reins of Kilogram.lu. The platform said "her exemplary career in organic retail and catering and her entrepreneurial spirit guarantee the continuity of Kilogram.lu's ecological values, while exploring new opportunities to expand its impact".

Together, Stéphanie Lamberty and Anne Harles share a common vision: facilitating access to local and zero waste shopping for a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Anne Harles commented: "Kilogram.lu has shown that it is possible to consume better while supporting the local economy. I am delighted to continue this adventure and contribute to such an inspiring project."
