Following the popularity of its private cinema hire concept in Luxembourg and in an effort to further expand its offer, Kinepolis has decided to launch "Kinepolis Play".
From Wednesday 31 March 2021, gaming fans will be able to book a cinema room at Kinepolis Kirchberg exclusively for them and a maximum of nine friends, relatives or colleagues. They will be able to play on the XXL screen while being seated in the armchairs. This gaming experience is to be enjoyed in complete safety by the strict application of the precautionary measures in force in Kinepolis cinemas.
Orange Luxembourg, an official partner of the Luxembourg Esports Federation (LESF), has joined "Kinepolis Play" by becoming main sponsor. The Luxembourg operator will also support Kinepolis on the technical part of the "Kinepolis Play" experiments with Fiber Orange.
Kinepolis charges a fixed price of €199 for the rental of the room regardless of the number of guests. It is up to each organiser to decide whether to play solo or in a larger group (up to the max. total of ten). Pre-sales are now open.
