Following the success of the two previous editions of the Tango High School Cup in 2021 and 2022, a third edition is set to start on 21 January 2023.
The Tango High School Cup is the first gaming competition exclusively for secondary school students in Luxembourg. The competition aims to strengthen the community spirit within the schools around federative events.
The live streams will be presented among others by the collective of Luxembourgish influencers and streamers "Merspillenzesummen".
In addition to the gaming, the organisers will once again offer educational content related to gaming and health to secondary school students during the live streams.
"We're really looking forward to this new edition and we've also added new innovative features to make the Tango High School Cup even cooler and more exciting," explained Luis Camara, Chief Consumer Market Officer of Tango. "For the players, it's time to start training, as the competition promises to be intense. For the public, get ready to have a good time!"
The competition will be organised around six different games, including Fortnite, Clash Royale and FIFA23. The last event will be held in person with an action-packed competition.
