The grand final of the 2023 Tango High School Cup season, Luxembourg’s interschool eSports tournament for secondary school students, took place on Saturday 17 June 2023.

Meeting at the Cloche d'Or Shopping Experience in Luxembourg, the secondary school students competed in the game "HADO", a kind of dodge ball in Augmented Reality (AR) version. It was the first time a HADO tournament was held in Luxembourg. The students formed teams of three players and fought for the last victory of this school year.

At the end of the competition, the "Saurabino" team with the secondary school student "Vizzualzkid" played in the final against the "SAND" team with secondary school students from the Lycée Guillaume Kroll (LGK) in Esch-sur-Alzette. It was the Saurabino team who won the final with a single point lead and secured the prize money of €900 for the first place.

The Tango High School Cup is a video game tournament in Luxembourg attracting over 550 participants from 38 different secondary schools. According to the organisers, Fit4Gaming, the Tango High School Cup reached over 200,000 people, making it the most successful event ahead of the Post eSports Masters and the Orange eLeague for the last two consecutive years.

As a result of this competition, there has also been a change in the secondary school rankings. After six out of six competitions, the LGK won the title of 2023 secondary school champion after the victory of the LNB in 2022 and the LGL in 2021.

1st - Lycée Guillaume Kroll Esch-sur-Alzette

2nd - Lycée Nic Biever Dudelange 

3rd – Lycée de Garçons Luxembourg

In the individual ranking (MVP) Vizzualzkid won the prize for this year thus ensuring a bonus of €800.

Alongside the HADO competition, there was also music from DJ Almighty A and Luxembourgish rapper BREBO. In addition, there were free-to-access consoles for everyone throughout the day.
