POST Luxembourg has announced that it is launching the country's first league dedicated to video games: the POST eSports League. 

Cliff Konsbruck, Director of POST Telecom, explained: "As a company driving digital transformation, the video game sector sticks perfectly to our DNA. Gamers are interested in technologies, innovations, they seek performance, speed, availability. They are passionate, just like we are. With the launch of the POST eSports League, we want to contribute to the development of eSports in Luxembourg, in the greater region and why not beyond".

The POST eSports League season will take place online between April and July 2020. The final will be held in September during the LGX 2020 at Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. For the finals of the three games, POST will provide a prize of €20,000 to be shared between the winners.

For this new initiative, POST has teamed up with 11F, a company that regularly organises events like the Luxembourg Gaming Xperience (LGX), which recently attracted over 14,000 visitors.
