The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they received reports of several disturbances, including fights and noise complaints, during the night of Friday 11 to Saturday 12 July 2025.
In a statement issued at around 09:40 on Saturday, the police said they had been contacted about a dozen times regarding fights in the past twelve hours. In most cases, however, either nothing could be established at the scene or the parties involved were informed of their right to pursue legal action.
Furthermore, on the orders of the public prosecutor, the police removed two individuals from their homes due to domestic violence. A total of five domestic disputes and about 20 other disputes were reported to the police during the night.
The police received about 40 reports of noise disturbances overall. In most cases, either no noise was detected on site or the noise nuisance had ceased by the time officers arrived.
