The municipality of Strassen has donated a total of €25,250 to six humanitarian non-profit organisations to support their projects in Luxembourg and abroad.
On Thursday 1 July 2021, the college of the mayor and alderman and the municipal councillors of Strassen handed over the cheques to the following organisations:
- Aide à l’enfance de l‘Inde et du Népal (AEIN): €4,000
- Liewenshaff Päerd’s Atelier: €4,000
- Fondation Caritas Luxembourg: €5,250
- Schrëtt fir Schrëtt: €4,000
- Baytna Baytak – Together To Rebuild Beirut: €4,000
- Indian Association Luxembourg: €4,000
During this year’s "Wibbel a Spill mat", which took place on 23 June in Strassen, the local organisations and sponsors managed to collect money for a good cause.
Donations of €750 from BGL, €500 from Biker.lu and €4,000 from the municipality of Strassen were given to the Caritas Luxembourg Foundation, which received a cheque for a total of €5,250 for its humanitarian projects.
