On Monday 24 June 2024, Rotary Club Luxembourg-Hearts announced its 10th Anniversary Masquerade Charity Gala on 19 October 2024 from 18:00, aimed at raising funds for Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner.
This tenth anniversary is a dancing, masked-ball celebration, set to take place at the Salon des Roses, Hotel Le Royal, 12 Boulevard Royal, Luxembourg-Ville and aiming to raise funds in support of families of children diagnosed with cancer.
"As we mark our 10th anniversary, this gala is a testament to our unwavering commitment to service above self. Every contribution from this event will go directly to Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, helping families through their most challenging times. "All funds raised from Rotary Club Luxembourg-Hearts’ gala will go to 'Letz Go Gold' and will be dedicated to the selected research programs of 'Fight Kids Cancer', specifically focusing on children's brain tumours. This is a crucial area of paediatric oncology where advancements in research can significantly improve survival rates and quality of life for affected children. The gala not only serves as a significant fundraiser but also as a platform to raise awareness about childhood cancer and the vital work we do. Additionally, the gala helps us connect with the community, fostering a spirit of solidarity and shared purpose. The visibility and attention garnered from such high-profile events help us educate the public about the unique challenges faced by children with cancers.
