SO Graphiste Freelance, a Luxembourgish graphic design company, has raised over €3,000 for natür&emwelt's Fondation Hëllef fir d'Natur Foundation through the sale of its children's book Léon, le petit caméléon (Leon, the little chameleon).

SO Graphiste Freelance created the project “L’histoire s’enchaîne” (the story goes on) during lockdown in March 2020. The result was a story for children in the form of a picture book, illustrated by SO Graphiste with the help of internet users: Léon, le petit caméléon. The book is available in French and Luxembourgish and in the form of a printed book, an eBook and an audiobook.

In an act of solidarity, the graphic design company decided to donate all profits from its book sales to the the Fondation Hëllef fir d’Natur of natur&ëmwelt, a Luxembourg non-profit which works every day to protect nature and biodiversity.

One year later, the sale of the book has enabled SO Graphiste to present the foundation with a cheque for €3,078. This sum will go towards the development of spaces conducive to the development of wildlife and of wild flora by restoring degraded sensitive environments.

Printed books are available on the site www.so-graphiste.lu (in the section “L'histoire s'enchaîne”) as well as in natu&ëmwelt's nature shops located at the Maison de la Nature in Kockelscheuer and at the Centre de Soins pour la Faune Sauvage (wild animal sanctuary) in Dudelange.
