Luxembourg's weather portal MeteoLux has issued a warning for heavy rain all day on Wednesday.

At the time of writing, a yellow ("potential danger") alert was in place for all of Luxembourg from 06:00 on Wednesday 9 October until 01:00 on Thursday 10 October 2024.

Continuous rain is expected with accumulations of between 30 and 50 l/m² over a 24-hour period.

MeteoLux added that the alert was "likely" to be upgraded to orange ("danger") over the course of the day, depending on new analyses.
