The German ensemble The Simon & Garfunkel Tribute Band will perform at the Centre Culturel Machera in Grevenmacher on Saturday 31 January 2026 at 20:00, in a concert promoted by Kultopolis GmbH.
The group brings to life the greatest hits of the American folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, whose music shaped the 1970s. Their repertoire includes timeless ballads such as Scarborough Fair and Bright Eyes, classics like Mrs. Robinson, The Boxer and The Sound of Silence, as well as eternally alive hits like Cecilia and El Condor Pasa. The programme also includes selected songs from Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel's solo careers.
The tribute band founded by Michael Frank (vocals, guitar) and Guido Reuter (vocals, violin, flute and piano) has expanded into a five-piece band with Sebastian Fritzlar (guitar, piano, drums, bass), Mirko Sturm (percussion, drums) and Sven Lieser (guitar) now also on board.
Together they recreate the legendary duo's vocal and instrumental harmonies, blurring the lines between song covers and their own elements of style.
