On Thursday 4 June 2026, Luxembourg non-profit organisation Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS) announced the publication of its 2025 annual report at its general meeting.

IMS Luxembourg noted that 2025 was a year of intensity, commitment and, above all, tangible results for the organisation, and stated: “Behind every project, every event and every tool lies a single ambition: to provide practical support to members as they undergo transformation. This year, IMS reached a significant milestone. With over 120 events organised and nearly 2,000 people trained through the Sustainability Academy, IMS has strengthened its role as a learning ecosystem.”

According to IMS Luxembourg, 2025 was marked by the highlights including:

• the organisation of 124 events;

• over 3,000 participants at IMS events;

• the production of fourteen publications (guides, podcasts, games, etc.);

• the Sustainability Academy’s fourth year;

• over 2,000 people trained by the Sustainability Academy;

• a total of 27 IMS employees (as of 31 December 2025).

Nancy Thomas, Director – IMS Luxembourg, noted: “The challenge is no longer simply to raise awareness, but to provide the means to act, to test, to train and to embed sustainable practices at the heart of organisations.”

The non-profit organisation also announced that it will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2027 and, in the run-up to this milestone, its members have participated in a workshop to contribute to the association’s strategic planning.

Further events in 2026

In 2026, Luxembourg IMS will host the fifteenth edition of the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum on Tuesday 27 October at the Grand Théâtre studio, under the theme: ONE HEALTH.

IMS also announced it has joined forces with Infogreen, a Luxembourg-based media platform focused on sustainability, environmental issues, social responsibility and the green transition, to create ‘Act Now’, a series of events dedicated to sustainable solutions in business. The first event will take place on Friday 13 November, focusing on water management.

For the 2026 Sustainability Awards, organisations have until Thursday 11 June to apply. The awards ceremony will take place on Monday 5 October 2026.

The closing conference for pilot project New Tech Adaptation for Companies will take place on Tuesday 20 October. After two years of implementing the project, which focused on strengthening employees’ digital skills, IMS detailed that 170 participants from eleven companies had participated.

IMS will also introduce a new four-session programme dedicated to human rights, offering a structured course to help organisations move from understanding the issues to putting them into practice: identifying risks, structuring their approach and implementing appropriate measures.

The future of IMS Luxembourg

Luxembourg IMS said that 2027 promises to be a year of celebration, change and new strategic directions for the organisation, noting that the network’s DNA has always been to demonstrate agility in adapting, transforming and continuing to lead the way on sustainability issues. At the general assembly, members present were invited to view the association as a living system and to imagine its future.

“Now more than ever, and particularly in these uncertain times, the transition requires courage, cooperation and a long-term vision. The teams at IMS Luxembourg help to shape this collective ambition by providing spaces for dialogue, learning and co-creation,” said Christian Scharff, President – IMS Luxembourg
