Solvay Brussels School’s Executive Education branch has announced that it has partnered with Brainforge to deliver lifelong education programmes in general management and finance in Luxembourg.

Leveraging its longstanding relationship with the business community of Luxembourg, the School commits to serving companies and professionals based in Luxembourg through its open enrolment executive education curricula and company specific programmes.

“With the economy becoming more volatile and fast paced it is more important than ever to systematically develop and update management skills throughout one’s professional life”, said Mathias Schmitt, Professor of Finance and Academic Director at Solvay. The School gives very strong emphasis on the combination of academic rigour and pragmatic perspectives from practitioners, something that has characterised its teaching methods for over a century. For the purpose of lifelong education for managers and executives, Solvay chooses methods and techniques involving traditional forms of training, work on cases and group sessions, paying special attention to accommodating the often heavy work schedules of managers and executives attending the programmes. The Executive Education programmes for Luxembourg will be delivered by Solvay academic staff and experienced practitioners, while all organisational and administrative aspects of the programmes will be handled by Brainforge.

Solvay is a leading institution of higher education and research in economics and management and is part of Université libre de Bruxelles. The School is ranked 13th in research in Europe and 47th in FT’s ranking of European Business Schools. Solvay delivers a comprehensive range of education curricula from graduate education, to doctoral schools, to postmaster programmes, to executive education and a university grade MBA degree. Solvay is accredited by EQUIS and AMBA.
