Chronicle.lu has been allocated ten tickets (five pairs) for the British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) 2026 screening of The Siege of Paradise.
The screening is taking place on Monday 21 September 2026 at 19:00 at the Cinémathèque @ Cercle Cité (3 Rue Genistre, 2nd floor, above the city library).
The Siege of Paradise (IE, CH; 82 mins) is a documentary directed by Gar O’Rourke. Set in Cinque Terre in Italy, where fewer than 3,000 local residents share their cliffside villages with almost four million tourists each year, the film follows six lives and explores different perspectives on over-tourism and the responsibility of visitors to some of the world’s most popular destinations.
To participate in the draw for a pair of tickets, send an email (mentioning BIFFL 2026 - The Siege of Paradise) with your first name and surname to editor@chronicle.lu before 17:30 on Saturday 19 September 2026.
Winners will be contacted on Sunday 20 September 2026; their tickets will be available for collection from the festival ticket desk at the cinema entrance prior to the screening.
The BIFFL 2026 Autumn Edition will run from Saturday 19 to Sunday 27 September 2026. Further details on the festival programme are available here: https://chronicle.lu/category/film-festivals/63181-british-irish-film-festival-luxembourg-launches-2026-autumn-edition.
