The 57th edition of the Diekirch Cavalcade (Dikricher Cavalcade) will take place on Sunday 2 March 2025.
This is one of the largest and best-known parades held during Luxembourg's Carnival (Fuesent) season.
The procession will kick off at 14:30 on 2 March, passing through Route de Larochette, Rue Alexis Heck, Esplanada, Place Guillaume, Rue de Stavelot and Avenue de la Gare. Prize distribution is scheduled for 19:00 at the Al Seeërei.
DJ Paul will provide entertainment on Op der Kluuster / Place Guillaume from 12:00 to 19:00, whilst DJ Dee will play tunes outside the town hall from 12:00 to 18:00. DJ Hofmeister will be present on Place de la Libération from 16:00 to 22:00. Children's entertainment is also on the agenda (in "Family Place").
At the Al Seeërei, DJ Maji will provide warm-up entertainment, from 15:30 to 18:30, followed by after-party entertainment by DJ Al and DJ Blueteck.
Pre-sale tickets for the Diekirch Cavalcade are available from various locations (bars, restaurants, bookshops, cinema) in Diekirch. Pre-sale tickets cost €5 (instead of €8 on the day) and children under twelve go free. For each ticket, customers automatically enter the raffle for the opportunity to win prizes worth €1,200.
