The Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg-Ville will open its doors to the public for guided tours from 20 July to 31 August 2022.
The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that it is organising up to seven daily visits to the palace in several languages. The guided tours last 75 minutes and will be let by official LCTO tour guides.
The guided tours will commence from in front of the LCTO tourist reception in Place Guillaume II. Details of timetables and languages are available online at luxembourg-city.com. Entry tickets are on sale online and are also available directly from the LCTO and cost €15 for adults and €7.50 for children aged 4-12; children under 4 go free. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Fondation du GrandDuc et de la Grande-Duchesse.
This year, the guided tours of the Grand-ducal Palace constitute a highlight of “Summer in the City 2022”.

Safety instructions and practical information
- All visitors must submit to a body scan at the entrance to the palace.
- Baggage will be checked and is prohibited inside the palace.
- It is forbidden to take photos inside the palace.
- Drinks and snacks are not allowed inside the palace.
- Strollers must be left at the entrance to the palace. During the visit, the parents keep their babies in their arms.
- Pets are not allowed (with the exception of service dogs).
