The Grand Duchess Maria Teresa Learning Development Centre (CDA) and the Consultation and Support Service for Attention and Perception Disorders and for Psychomotor Development (SCAP) have announced that they are launching an awareness campaign in October, as part of ADHD Awareness Month.

Throughout October, the CDA together with the SCAP, and with the support of Luxembourg's Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, are organising a series of awareness-raising and training-related events about attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Events include conferences, workshops for parents, continuing education and peer-to-peer exchanges for education professionals.

The campaign kicks off on Friday 1 October 2021 with a launch conference with Dr Elisabeth Aust-Claus (a specialist doctor for children and adolescents) at Forum Geesseknäppchen, from 18:00 to 20:00. This is a CovidCheck event which will also be broadcast live via the Education Ministry's YouTube channel. ASTI volunteers will provide a direct oral translation from German into French.
