From Thursday 16 May to 18 June 2024, nineteen pianos decorated and embellished by partners from the artistic or educational sectors will be installed in the streets, near tourist attractions, neighbourhoods and parks of the Luxembourg capital.

The project entitled “My Urban Piano” aims to brighten up public spaces and allow anyone interested to improvise micro-concerts and entertain passers-by in Luxembourg-Ville with piano tunes.

The College of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Luxembourg has announced the official launch of the artistic and participatory project on Thursday 16 May at 17:00 in front of the Cercle Cité building, at the Place d’Armes in Luxembourg-Ville.

On this occasion, fourteen-year-old Tim de Buyser, a high-level student at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg, will perform two musical works, namely Passacaglia by Georg Friedrich Handel as well as Chaconne Op 2 N 4, a composition by Tim de Buyser.
