On Wednesday 22 April 2026, The NETWORK, an international professional women's association in Luxembourg, held an interactive event dedicated to "Demystifying AI for Personal Growth" at the Oekozenter Pafendall in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal.

Opening the event, The NETWORK's Vice President, Patricia Martin, highlighted the importance of mastering artificial intelligence (AI), rather than allowing it to master us. General Secretary Barbora Kubikova then outlined the structure of the evening and introduced the four facilitators.

Approximately 50 participants were divided into four workshop groups. Through practical, hands-on sessions, attendees explored how AI can support personal development, notably as a tool for reflection, learning, productivity, streamlining everyday tasks and building better habits.

The four workshops were:

  • Define Your Value Proposition with AI, led by Marco Houwen, Lead Advisor and Coach at Zentrapreneur
  • From Chat to Action: Build Your First AI Workflow, led by Aisling McCaffrey, Founder and CEO at Crystallized Intelligence
  • Note to Self: Remember Everything, led by Dr Christopher Morse, Computer Linguist at Zenter fir d’Lëtzebuerger Sprooch (Centre for the Luxembourgish Language)
  • Don't Just Use AI: Know What It's Doing, led by Maria Pawelek, Member of ILA's Think Tank

Participants worked in small groups on development-focused topics, learning how to select appropriate AI tools, apply effective prompting techniques, handle data responsibly and integrate AI into their daily workflows.

In his workshop (attended by Chronicle.lu), Marco Houwen guided participants through an exercise aimed at identifying and refining their core values using an experimental AI chatbot. He first addressed some of the challenges posed by AI, particularly in terms of depth of thinking, creative divergence and cognitive autonomy, arguing that humans are increasingly becoming "context creators" rather than "solution creators". He stressed the importance of conscious intelligence (CI), introspection and differentiation as key to creating meaningful collaboration with AI and, ultimately, lasting success. The session also included a practical exercise in which participants used AI prompts to reflect more deeply on their core values.

The event concluded with a short debrief and knowledge-sharing session, followed by networking over refreshments.

The NETWORK announced that its next event, scheduled for May 2026, will focus on mental health, specifically burnout awareness and prevention.
