Passage (the Parent Support Group for the English-speaking Community in Luxembourg) has announced that Steven Frank will be making another appearance in Luxembourg when he will be the special guest at the “Keeping History Alive” seminar on the Tuesday 7 June at 19:00 at St. George’s International School (Barthel Hall in the Secondary School Building, 11 rue des Peupliers, L-2328 Luxembourg-Hamm).
Steven Frank is a Holocaust survivor and only one of 93 children who remained alive following the atrocities at the Thereienstadt Concentration Camp during the Second World War. This is a unique opportunity to hear first-hand, Steven’s personal story of survival, despair, ingenuity and ultimate hope. This is a unique occasion to capture a piece of World history, albeit awful in context, but overwhelming powerful and reflective in spirit.
Steven will also highlight his involvement in a project to preserve history for The National Holocaust Centre and Museum, whereby future generations can interact and hear from holograms of Holocaust survivors telling their stories in the first person.
Parents and Secondary school-aged children (12 years+) are invited to share in this unmissable event. Please email Passage (passage.parents@gmail.com) if you would like to reserve a place for the seminar.
Entrance is free, but donations will be most welcome to cover the cost of refreshments and to further support the work of Passage.
