On Wednesday 24 June 2026, the Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) confirmed that Cristina Correia and Daniel Zirbes will remain in charge of the Luxembourg women's national football team, the Rout Léiwinnen, for the next two seasons.

Both coaches will continue to lead the national team for 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 seasons.

In addition to his coaching duties, Daniel Zirbes will also become coordinator of the FLF Women's International Department. According to the FLF, the new role will further strengthen his contribution to the development of women's football in Luxembourg.

Cristina Correia and Daniel Zirbes took charge of the Rout Léiwinnen in 2025 and have since led the team in the UEFA Women's Nations League and FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying campaigns.
