The Right Reverend Dr Robert Innes, Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe, at the Anglican Confirmation 2019;
On Sunday 12 May 2019, the Right Reverend Dr Robert Innes, Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe, was in Luxembourg for the confirmation in the Anglican Church of three confirmands.
Albert York, Jay Roloff and Maghnus O'Donnell were confirmed into the Anglican Church in a 95-minute Church service at the Konvikt Centre Chapel which was led by the Chaplain of the Anglican Church in Luxembourg, the Rev'd Geoff Read.
The Diocese in Europe was created in 1980 and stretches from Iceland in the north-west and Morocco in the south-west to Mongolia in the East, with almost 300 congregations in over 40 countries across Europe plus Turkey, Morocco and Russia. The cathedral is in Gibraltar, with pro-cathedrals in Malta and Brussels. The diocesan office is in London, and Bishop Innes lives and works in Brussels.
