Jérôme Grandidier, President of the Luxembourg Federation of Startups, President of Luxfactory and founder of the start-up MySardines cryptocurrency initiative, lost his fight against COVID-19 and passed away in Kirchberg hospital at the week-end.
With a background in ICT and telecomms, Jérôme Grandidier was a visionary and a serial entrepreneur as well as supporting others wanting to start their own business and helping them to exploit their own ideas.
50 year-old Jérôme was devoted to promoting the Luxembourg entrepreneurial and start-up ecosystem and was an inspiration to many.
He was also the initiator of the Luxembourg pavilion at the massive CES event in Las Vegas: CES was the flagship event of the tech industry.
Jérôme is survived by his wife Isabelle and three children.
