The Trier Tourism and Marketing association has announced upcoming special events and activities to take place in the city this month.
Noteworthy activities in Trier this April include the opening of the main market’s wine booth for spring, which is open daily from 10:00 or 11:00 until 22:00. There is also a series of guided city tours and adventure performances on offer starting this month in Germany’s oldest city.
Moreover, to begin the 2017 hiking season, Trier Tourism and Marketing will be organising its 2.5 to 3 hour Easter hike to take place on Good Friday, 14 April 2017. This will be followed the subsequent week by the first ActiveWeek of the year, featuring five days of different tours around the city.
The city’s annual Holy Robe days are being organised from 28 April to 7 May, accompanied by a programme of worship services, concerts and tours. Moreover, the Trier Choir Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary on 29 April 2017.
