Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in several fuel prices.
As of Tuesday 25 August 2026, the price of diesel has fallen by 2.3 cents to €1.940 per litre (including VAT).
Heating oil prices have also decreased by 2.3 cents to €1.431 per litre.
The price per litre of diesel for industrial/commercial use now stands at €1.544 (down by 2.4 cents), while diesel for agricultural/horticultural use has fallen to €1.391 (down by 2.4 cents).
Prices for unleaded 95 and 98 octane petrol remain unchanged at €1.727 and €1.932 per litre respectively. LPG and propane prices also remain unchanged.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
