On Sunday 2 April 2017, the Luxembourg swimming team (FLNS) participated in the final match of the Interregional Luxembourger Water Polo Championship in Longwy.
The Longwy team played and won the first match of the day with 25 to 6 against SSV Trier, whilst Swimming Luxembourg played the second game of the day against CN Diekirch, losing to the latter who scored 15 points in total.
Longwy thus came first with 21 points, followed by Diekirch with 15 points. The Luxembourg team closed the interregional championship in fifth place.
