On Monday 15 August, a microlight made an emergency landing at around 16:30 alongside the CR350 between Niederfeulen and Welscheid.

Two microlights were being flown from Trier to the West Coast to France, and one suffered engine damage as they flew over the Grand Duchy. The pilot succeeded to make an emergency call and to land in a meadow between Niederfeulen and Welscheid.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
