The Rotondes has become a prime location for events and will therefore be offering a cornucopia of entertainment with nine events announced for the month of March alone.
Since the opening of the Rotondes in Luxembourg City centre on Saturday 13 June 2015 it has quickly grown as a popular venue for hosting social events. Anything from the visual arts and music to workshops for all ages can been experienced there. The Rotondes’ slogan is 'Cultural Explorations' and it particularly focuses on young people, both as participants and as the public.
The building itself consists of two circular engine houses built in 1875 to serve as a shed and workshop for steam locomotives. Since the obsoletion of the steam locomotive the building has been put to a variety of uses amongst others a storage space and a repair workshop for buses Following the Second World War. A decision was taken in 2000 to hand the building over to the Ministry of Culture and the buildings went through major restorations that was only completed in 2015. The Rotondes is located by the Luxembourg train station in the Gare district at: Rotundas, Place des rotundas, L-2448 Luxembourg.

• “Knitting Afterwork” on 16 Wednesday. Knitting for all regardless of previous experience.
• “Matka” from Friday 11 Mach to Monday 14 March. An exploration of the world through dance, music and circus.
• “Ein Loch ist rund moistens” from Friday 4 March to Wednesday 9 March. Theatre exploring the world of imagination.
• “Foreign Affairs” form Friday 26 February to Wednesday 3 March. An exhibition of photographs of Pasha Rafiy, taken during the filming of “Foreign Affairs”.
• “Urban Elements” from Thursday 25 February to Wednesday 29 June. A work in progress in the minimalist style showing our everyday urban environment.
• “Soundscape” from Thursday 25 February to Wednesday 29 June. An artist take on the loud noises that surround us every day.
• “Weval” on Friday 11 March. Live electronic music by the duo Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers.
• “Aamar” on Friday 4 March. Live music by Aamar, an electronic ambient producer with a touch of Soul and Hip Hop roots.
