A guided tour of the cemetery of Notre Dame in Luxembourg (Allée des Résistants et Déportés) will take place on Saturday 20 February 2016 at 14:30

The Notre Dame cemetery today is a true open-air museum of the finest works of architecture and sculpture devoted to funerary art. It is also a reception place that is open, tolerant, cosmopolitan, regardless of religion or philosophy, culture or nationality, social status or reputation. It illustrates many ways of approaching death...

The 90-minute tour will be led by Robert L. Philippart (in Luxembourgish). Organised by the MNHA / Musée 3 EEchelen / SLHU.

Cost €5.

The Luxembourg Urban History organisations was founded in 2013 as a nonprofit organisation that organises guided tours of architecture in Luxembourg and Esch-sur-Alzette.
