On Tuesday 1 September 2026, Luxembourg life assurance company OneLife Company SA announced the appointment of Cédric Lootvoet as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

Cédric Lootvoet succeeds Bruno Valersteinas, who was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Groupe APICIL, responsible for Savings & Financial Services activities, in October 2025. The appointment completes a transition period launched in December 2025, during which Cédric Lootvoet served as Deputy CEO of OneLife. 

In his new role, Cédric Lootvoet will oversee OneLife's continued development across its European markets. According to the company, its priorities will include deploying new digital and investment solutions, improving internal process efficiency and maintaining its wealth management expertise and service quality. 

Cédric Lootvoet has almost 25 years of professional experience. He began his career in Belgium at CTIF-CFI, the public authority responsible for combating money laundering and terrorist financing, before joining Deloitte Luxembourg, where he became Senior Manager in Forensic & Enterprise Risk Services. He joined OneLife in 2010 as Head of Compliance & Risk and a member of the Executive Committee, before becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2016. In 2023, he was appointed one of the company's two directors approved by Luxembourg's insurance regulator, the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA).
