Over the past week-end, Luxembourg's national curling team finished runner-up at an international tournament held in Dusseldorf involving a number of clubs from neighbouring countries.
Following very good performances in the first three matches - a win against the Beavers (last year's winner) 13-4, an unfortunate defeat against Awesomesauce from Holland 5-6, and a narrow win against the women's team from Dusseldorf 8-7, the Luxembourg team reached the final game.
Despite the 5-4 win over Cologne, Luxembourg finished second due to the count-back of scores, with Cologne being awarded the title.
Luxembourg's national team consisted of Marc Hansen, Skip, Alex Benoy, Francesco Grassi and Fabio Veltri.
